Padang pandan- green blade of home @ Yami

Summer

Hardcore g r e e n. Perfectly alright even if we did not traverse into the green tea. One of the less represented in a green; because it is a natively produced flavour, how envelope-pushing contemporary ice-cream parlours would want to make a statement by wiring it into their strain. The local vanilla. Pose with me the doe-eyed wonder panda sweetness pandan.

Pandan (Regular) (SGD 2.30)

A pretty seafoam green. {Always a sting to the heart.} Pandan, the non-kaya (kaya is coconut jam), non-jam, non-egg, non-coconut, this odd extract of a plant? You could feel the tendrils of the cooking aroma coming towards you, against the flash of a sourish yoghurt.

P.S. Local rose, bandung. Local vanilla, pandan. Yami Yoghurt projects to you, when was it the last time you had relived the full glory of stuffing a pandan chiffon in your face? A dessert. Or pie or cake or bread or muffin. Has anyone ever spanned a web on all the flavours of Yami Yogurt? The range of fruits and plants in yoghurt.

Shall We?- what a crack Shall We? Glico Matcha

Sunny

Matcha connoisseurs are acute, assertive than ever in this age of rapidly reviving consciousness. Breadth-wise, in the ruthless pursuit to secure matcha, that can once again hit the sweetest spot, like aficionados susurrating; length-wise, matcha getting more and more zany. Green, the revolution causing grave disturbances to the scene, you cannot be perturbed or unaffected by the presence.

Shall We? Glico Matcha (SGD 6.00)

Glico also scores hard quelling that. After Pocky, Kit Kat Matcha Latte, Ginza sweet Uki Matcha, Pocky Midi Matcha, Fujiya LOOK Matcha Parfait, Glico calls for a reform with traditional hand-baked cookie, laced generously with heaps of matcha equally traditional how Japanese grandmother would prepare. The wide on the eye, disappearing in the mouth cookie. With luxuriant growths like gilded brass on the package, Glico uses traditional to pitch against the other quirky matcha. But the Shall We?- a wet blanket(?)[haha]. It's the notion of raising tea glasses to toast to elevenses, says the Glico, Colonial or benign Japanese way.

There it emanates a sweet, grassy small. Reminiscent of shortbread's stature, but sandy and buoyant, sharply giving away what Glico would want.

P.S. Shall We?- the thinking of hopping onto a boat does not confine to the green tea. So romance is not all green. The Shall We also include others like butter, (probably where it originated from) and chocolate chip macadamia.

Nanchuck and all that chops- Meiji's Chip! Chop cereal

Hazy

You're right. There's "delicious salt" there. On the box. {That's how pomelo, smoked duck, mint, rocket comes about? Or oyster sauce, pineapple, wakame perplexes}?

Meiji Chipchop Matcha (SGD 6.00)

Chocolate matcha, fragrant black pepper, salt. Read the list and it informs bran, cocoa powder, matcha powder, black ground sesame, salt. Like your favourite salt and pepper- a little bit more and it'd be better power brunch. Glico, baffles with the Shall We?; what happen to you now, Meiji? Meiji explains Chippendale, it is crispy, it is thin.

Triangular cereal puffs, coated with that wee bit of salt/pepper(?) making it savoury and a dusty surface, like grits stuffed with chocolate. It is bittersweet yet popping like poppy seeds and spicy with extra chocolate flavour in the thin chocolate cream, the salt metes it out a palatable finish from cereal to cereal to last the feed.

P.S. The product name Meiji Chip Chop, visioned snack of cereal with chocolate to be dunked in milk, rearing its ugly head as forcibly as green fingers slipping out (brusquely) from a chocolate-brown biscuit, it is the seasonal matcha green tea sesame cream. The normal are chocolate, bitter chocolate with cocoa cream.

Corny or what?- yellow, yellow fellow from Yami Yogurt

Cloudy

Anything is possible. Upon first grazing the yogurt, corn. They are all linked together in a complex, omniscient way- it has been established.

Corn (Regular) (SGD 2.30)

The bystanding face and price tag for years, it still stayed.
Corn a fruit, vegetable grain in yogurt?  Dessert- custard/corn pau, ice kachang, sweet corn you add to tapioca, coconut. The sulfur yellow kernels you'd pick from your serving plate.

P.S. No unfamiliar, it is like ice dessert roped in with a strain of corn. The taste of corn, faint, shadowed by the natural culture's frozen texture later, you forget that the lemon chiffon yellow's corn. Only towards the end the husky taste of the grain resurfaces a bit, corn

Adventure on f(rui)t- Tic Tac 4 flavours

Sunny

All the time it has been deceiving. Behind the electric blue/brilliant orange screens. The refreshers|whites.

It's still hard to view Tic Tac, as a mosaic. The solid colour, broken up. It gives away, into licensing. Which is the most numerous? The reds.

P.S. So it rains cherry, orange, passion fruit, green apple. {Blessings.}

Pink Pan(ther)- female@ Donq

Sunny

Only the French would be that tantalizing. Full-bodied masterpieces, like flower heads, lavish ingredients. At a glance, heavily textured waxing and waning. The dark, the light (dusted), the savoury, the sweet breads. One of its signature include the mentaiko french, and the dutch bread.

Pink Panda (chocolate chips) (SGD 3.00)

Ganache heaven, it is the Japanese. Little lake of colour, or pool. Ice-cream station Donq has stamped the Mr Panda, sighted and reproduced a sakura version, Ms Panda strawberry. Chocolate, and strawberry. Scoop which comes in more than 1 flavour residing in the well. Breads which draw the people to, because the lighting and heating are flamed and torched like a creamery. The goody bag of fruits and vegetables, herbs and elegant meats, flour and technique and content.

The bun is brioche based, yeasty, not that fine, higher butter or milk taste. It is golden, crusty at the bottom equally dark exposing real chocolate drops. Panda bow achingly tied pink, however it is under a different umbrella, rich, tender. So is the (panda) eye. A sparkly eye, crumbed, sugared.

P.S. The pink panda is one of the lovely mistakes on earth. Mutation. Premium camouflage. Sweet, turning pandas females. No. The strawberry panda was not strawberry (the cream, chocolate), but table sugar candied.

(Im) beans for you- edamame @ Sushi Tei

Night

The back, or bottom half of it would always be changing. What it is notable for, for Sushi Tei.

The 2nd order, or menu, it transforms into the shoes of its diners, what they would desire for; illusionary, apart from the main menu. For the summer months, it is the treats you can get from the sun-ripe and kissed produces; that are fully immersed in the light of life.

Lavender (fields)?, flowers (sakuraebi), skipjack tuna, edamame, the deal of the season. The Early Summer  involves selection from catch of the season, certain don, croquette and tempura.

Edamame Ice Cream (SGD 3.60)

What one had not taken away from the Fusion Fiesta promotion, the ice cool sizzling hot small pot of extra factor, wasabi. The visiting point to Singapore. However it all settles, with edamame.

The muted, toned down colours of Japan. Cream, grassy green, grey, ochre, beige, maroon, apricot. A reflection of the Japanese flavours, how less rogue it is; in shio (salt), black sesame, yuzu, strawberry, strawberry mille-feuille, nama chocolate.

Sweet Pear Ice Cream (SGD 3.60)

Where there is sweet white peach, there is sweet pear, in Japan. Crisp, thin, more of sorbet, it is aromatic, with a quality of wine. If you had pear tea it is the same fullness in sugariness.

The edamame ice cream, a whipped, eggy blend of sweet and savoury. There are pieces of green soy beans within. Lightly studded with the green heads, only bronzed caramel brittles (if found in ice cream) come close, chewy and buttery. There's nothing much ice cream like this (savoury).

P.S. The ultimate snacking company, one had not known or should have guessed that edamame had the substantiality to be churned in ice cream. Where there is red bean, yellow bean (soybean), peas, now edamame (green bean).
