Rainbow animals

SGD 12.90 for a plate of hor fun? Ridiculous. We can get it from any of our favourite haunts at 3 bucks, anytime. And the gst. For the same price we'd exchange for a plate spaghetti. (Its probably street fare in Italy though).

It is the same mixed emotion with arriving here. Dempsey hill; a country's-refuge for the expatriates, a rural getaway for the locals.

L’Organic Café and Deli

Something about the cow grasses which makes it not singapore. Something about the price of the food which makes it not local.

Still, something that the foreigners pay for that pastoral ambience; accompanied with a taste of their home-cooked foods(at last).

P.S. Next time, if you have foreign clients to entertain, do make a reservation with one of the tenants at Dempsey Hill; be it to reveal the rustic side of Singapore, cure{their} home-sicknesses, or for its great foods.
