When it was apple (dippers), one couldn't quite accept it. And now it is the itsy bitsy fruit of the berry. We no longer chug our mugs with paper rolled with streamers of red, navy and yellow in our sets, but now down in transparent canisters filled with opaque liquid in the midst of our trays.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie (SGD 3.45) (Small)
The McCafe. Presenting a small slice of heaven to us, when we wake up hit in the face that we have become too old for Mcdonald's {or not}. This pink amongst the so many adult-chocolate varieties reminds us such thing as concessions.
P.S. Like some birthchild of a prominent figure, is it real or not, what is inside the beverage, how much sugar added, poring and prying into every worth of the berries in the blend because it hails from a big name, which commonly does not deal with beverages, accessing its every move because there is an implication with its name. The smoothie is not a sweet-covered lattice, attesting to strawberries (natural) (zing), justifiably fine for the ice crystals with some strawberry/banana seeds.
Goldilocks usurps with pink Bread Pudding

For believability, it is pink (through and through), carving and digging it out.
The gaping edges bright as pink, proclaiming a promise land of bread, staples, and rice versatile as can be.
P.S. And in another way milk durable as can be, transforming anything that is touched to it.
Good o'(at) meal- land o'erflowing with milk and honey

Building block ol' friends oatmeal, rice, toasts, easily losing its flavour and volatile to take on new shapes and forms. Shedded to give a new appearance, when exploited.
Strawberry (milk) oatmeal|oatmeal strawberry. Sounding fearsome probably because sakura is located in an unnatural corner in the spectrum of a rainbow.
P.S. Oatmeal- bananas, milk, (+ strawberry), oats, raisins, honey; all which are whole foods, a stellar factor above other kinds (of meal), making oatmeal an alluring one when adhered to.

The beauty of flowers- Hanami buns

In its beaming pride the matcha green coat, the buns now come emblazoned in pink flower presses.

In commemoration of the season of the cherry blossoms, where it is a grave error to have the flower heads littered all over the ground. Food buns demarcated with the petals, what is the intention? To pique interest in what is a sakura/matcha bun, the fillings to go inside with a sakura flower bread.
It is chewy mochi fancied with the carbohydrate yeasty dough of japanese recipe. Something predictable of the fusion japanese/japanese, packing the present of a mochi confectionery within the honestness of bread. The mochi stretchy and sticky, a flowery flavour with deep pink hue and strawberry taste for the sakura bun, and a sweet, lingering gel-like mochi for the matcha bun.
P.S. Gooey, almost like pastes themselves. Polarity of the consistencies (bread and mochi) canceling out each other's mass, making it almost weightlessness yet hearty a bun. The bun, cake (rice), and topping (sakura flower). Incongruent imageries to which component defines the matcha/sakura, yet one knows the it is the mochi (and most likely flower) pressed to pay tribute (pictorial) to the custom of hanami.
No "Mould" Good Food- Why black?

Towards a unique direction the predecessor of Daiso, Muji is slave-less, no branding of the flesh nor seals to emboss its goods. Which explains its products minimalist, impeccable, rational.

One knows why one came about, it goes through much talks and deliberation, before materialization.
P.S. Black muffin carbon colour, black sesame and sesame. It has a slow, gradual flavour releasing a buttery cupcake and a thwarted, almost savoury twang of black sesame. White sesame is also found at the peripherals of the baked good, probably constituting to that earthly, burnt distinctive taste none other than multiplying richness to the blackness of the cake. Muji in kanji is 無印良品, no brand/seal products embracing good or high quality.
Notes on a string- Rainbow melody

They form a double, tones and notes reiterating down a next level. Visual units forming harmony, rhythm. The expanse of space transparency, limpidity, dampening the feeling of tenseness or claustrophobia.
