Banter - Tokyo - 1

4 times to Nippon. 4 times to Tokyo. 3 times to Tsukiji/Toyosu Fish Market. This city is the bane of everything- the extreme subcultures, the creative, the spiritual, the futuristic, the dystopic.
Actually I have never been to Meiji Shrine(soon), Asakusa region, Sensoji Temple, Shinjuku Gyoen Park, this park and that park, Tokyo Skytree but I have visited neighbouring residential districts such as Akasaka/Roppongi(3 times), Aoyama, Omote/Urasando, Daikanyama, Ebisu, Mitaka, Nihombashi. It is still befuddling to me that one would go to Japan without travelling to Tokyo. Each place that I have went was to befit the theme of that year- UNESCO World Heritage Sites with signature foods such as uni, mentaiko motsunabe, "chouchin" yakitori for the 1st year, scenic zekkei places of Japan yama, valleys, oceans, volcanoes, geysers, rocky beaches, non-man made hot springs with dons, dons, dons in the 2nd year, mystic atmosphere of shrine presences so I had to look for everything wobbly soufflé soufflé soufflé savoury, overflowing ikura bowls, omurice, cheesecake, raindrop cake in the 3rd year, funky places and definitely funky foods for the 4th year.
