(Im) beans for you- edamame @ Sushi Tei

Night

The back, or bottom half of it would always be changing. What it is notable for, for Sushi Tei.

The 2nd order, or menu, it transforms into the shoes of its diners, what they would desire for; illusionary, apart from the main menu. For the summer months, it is the treats you can get from the sun-ripe and kissed produces; that are fully immersed in the light of life.

Lavender (fields)?, flowers (sakuraebi), skipjack tuna, edamame, the deal of the season. The Early Summer  involves selection from catch of the season, certain don, croquette and tempura.

Edamame Ice Cream (SGD 3.60)

What one had not taken away from the Fusion Fiesta promotion, the ice cool sizzling hot small pot of extra factor, wasabi. The visiting point to Singapore. However it all settles, with edamame.

The muted, toned down colours of Japan. Cream, grassy green, grey, ochre, beige, maroon, apricot. A reflection of the Japanese flavours, how less rogue it is; in shio (salt), black sesame, yuzu, strawberry, strawberry mille-feuille, nama chocolate.

Sweet Pear Ice Cream (SGD 3.60)

Where there is sweet white peach, there is sweet pear, in Japan. Crisp, thin, more of sorbet, it is aromatic, with a quality of wine. If you had pear tea it is the same fullness in sugariness.

The edamame ice cream, a whipped, eggy blend of sweet and savoury. There are pieces of green soy beans within. Lightly studded with the green heads, only bronzed caramel brittles (if found in ice cream) come close, chewy and buttery. There's nothing much ice cream like this (savoury).

P.S. The ultimate snacking company, one had not known or should have guessed that edamame had the substantiality to be churned in ice cream. Where there is red bean, yellow bean (soybean), peas, now edamame (green bean).
