Green T.Tiramisu

22 April, 2010
I remember there was an instance when The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf introduced mandarin orange selections to complement the chinese new year. Orange cheesecakes and hot lattes, warm lava cake and crispy ice tea. Later on came the Chocolate of A Thousand Leaves, a mille-feuille ostentatiousness to fit the Easter bill. Now when it all seems to have come to a nought- a green tea swing to squelch the summer's spell.

Not kidding!check out its other warm pantry: Blueberrying regulars at year-end 2009, cranberry orange muffin in feb '10 - and now what- matcha adzuki muffins alongside mid-early 10! Naturally this green faze spread to the chilled larders and frozen section.

Green Tea Tiramisu (SGD 5.80)

This came as an electrifying shock towards the usual Raspberry cheesecake; a similar {watercolour product} in cherry daubs also smothered in white chocolate. But look- the layered tiramisu is dusted adorably in green tea powder! (The very condiment used to tease CB&TL's green tea blends) How very thoughtful. Tastewise, it fared a tiramisu cheese alright.
