Marché

June 1, 2010

There is WWWIII going on at 313. Trattoria Cucina Italiana; beaming in its red, white and green flag: yi-ta-li, FIFA' 10 hoisting the world's colour national flags, and from a far corner Marché raising its red and white-crossed flag: I surrender! Swiss.

Marché is a big name in the malls it invades. Like a major tenant; assuming the position of a hypermart or food court. Like the Japanese Gourmet Food Town, one is issued a ticket at the entrance. The children gets a balloon too, and the ones here at the top have been doused in light; glowing, adding 'chroma' to the rainbow.

Enter the fair and you will see the cardboard toy furnitures you use to affix in life-size. The lamp shades depict a snowy swiss scene; a simple red, blue and green The world in textile finishes, subject to a rainbow of colours under the fabric and light. Beyond that is the marketplace, where you can grab beverages, coffee, yogurt, and desserts; to soups, spaghetti, pizzas and rosti.

P.S. From 10am to 3pm, you don't have to worry there is nobody around to dine in beside you at the odd hours.
