One-dish meals are always the most comfortable. For mothers, who simmer and season all within a standing; for diners, who feel wholesome seeing colouful, equal classified mounds of carbohydrates, proteins, fat-and-fibers.(The day-to-day noodles and laksa do not count). They are dunked in soupy gravy- you cannot see them, losing their sense of comprehensiveness.
Vegetable noodles W Sauce (SGD 4.00)
Never belittle that sauce. Fried sauce noodles, the chinese-taiwanese; falling neatly into the one-dish meal, where many others had failed to do so. So much so it is the chinese spaghetti; authentic maggi mee, meat and sauce for you to toss with the plain noodles[at your whims and will].
P.S. Now that it is green, it becomes a classic. 炸酱面. I have eaten 炸酱面 in green (too! Raises eyebrows.)
